User Onboard Client DB

  • The User Onboard Client DB feature enables administrators to manage client databases and its users. It provides tools to create, modify, and manage database.

User Onboard Client DB Index Page

  • This page provides an overview of all the client databases available in the system.
  • This page also contains a modify button which allows users to update database details such as the user limit and status.

User Onboard Client DB Create Page

  • This page allows users to create a new client database by providing the following details:
  1. Database Name – The unique name of the new database.
  2. Server Group – The server group to which the database belongs.
  3. User Limit – The maximum number of users allowed.

User Onboard Client DB Options Page

  • This page provides multiple options for managing users within a client database. The available options include:
  1. Show All Users
  • Redirects to the User Onboard Index Page.
  • Displays all users except the Super User.
  • Shows user details such as ID, Name, Email, and User Type.
  1. Update as User
  • Redirects to a checklist of non-registered or admin users.
  • Allows updating selected users as normal users.
  1. Update as Admin
  • Displays a checklist of normal users.
  • Allows updating selected users as admin users.
  1. Deactivate User
  • Allows deactivation of both Admin and Normal users.
  1. Remove User
  • Allows the removal of deactivated users from the system.
  1. Link / Delink Module
  • Allows linking or delinking modules from the database.
  • Validation rules:
    • A linked module cannot be relinked again.
    • A delinked module cannot be removed again.

Link Group To Role

  • The Link Group To Role feature enables system administrators to associate user groups with specific roles within a module. Only roles and groups belonging to the same module can be linked.

Link Group To Role Index Page

  • This page provides an overview of all user groups and their associated roles.
  • It has 2 buttons
  1. Link Role Button – Used to add roles to a group.
  2. DeLink Role Button – Used to remove roles from a group.
  • Restrictions If a role is listed under DeniedUserRoles, it cannot be delinked from the group.

Link Group To Role (Group Create page)

  • This page allows users to create a new user group by providing the following details:
  1. Group Name – The unique name of the group.
  2. Module – The module to which the group belongs.

Link Group To Role (View All roles page)

  • This page displays all the roles and the details such as its name, module, group name and whether it is allowed to link

Link Group To Role (Role Create page)

  • This page allows users to create a new role by specifying:
  1. System Role Name – The predefined system name of the role.
  2. Role Name – The name of the role.
  3. Module Name – The module to which the role belongs.
  4. Can be linked to a group – Determines whether the role can be linked to a group.

Link User to Group

  • This feature allows to link all the normal users of the logged in database to a group.

Link User to Group

  • This page provides an overview of all normal users and their associated group count.
  • It has 2 buttons
  1. Link User to Group Button – Used to link user to a group.
  2. Deleing User Group Button – Used to remove user from a group.
  • Validation A user cannot be linked to more than 10 groups

Link User to Group (View All Groups page)

  • This page displays all the roles and the groups.

Link User to Group (Deny Role)

  • By using this feature it is possible to deny specific roles to a user even though they are linked to group to which the role belongs. Example : A user is linked to group Sales Details and it has roles Sales Order Details and Invoice Details. The user can view Order details but we have to restrict the user from seeing invoice details. Then we can simply deny the invoice details role for the user.
  • Validation Number of linked and denied roles cannot be same when groupdbname is SPL Only 50% of the linked roles can be denied for a user where groupdbname is not SPL. For Example : If user is linked to 50 roles. Deny role can be done for 25 roles only and not more than that.
